Armed Forces Staff Chief Gets Eccas Merit Medal
A medal
of merit
for the country's successful participation in the multinational
military exercise of the Economic Community of Central Africa States
(ECCAS) from November 01-22 in Chad, was handed to the chief of Staff
of the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA), gen. Francisco Furtado. The
medal, one of Chad's highest distinctions, was awarded to all chiefs of
staff of the ECCAS member countries' armed forces, by the local head of
State, Idriss Deby Itno, for the positive results reached during the
exercises. The organisation groups Angola, Burundi, Ruanda,
Chad,
Equatorial Guinea Congo Brazzaville, DR Congo, Gabon, São
Tomé and Príncipe, Central Africa Republic and
